I' m Yong Min.   I’m sorry to finish this essay class.  But I'm so happy, because I learned  useful writing skills and good expressions in this class.  I hope everyone has nice summer vacation.

Blog Post #9 - Summary & Response / Citation

K-pop singers performed at their first concert in Paris, France, late Friday. The performers were from the groups TVXQ, SHINee and f(x), and many fans wept upon seeing them.  The concert tickets were sold-out immediately so many people want other concert. The company decided to hold the additional concert, but the extra show also sold out ― this time in 10 minutes. Some pans arrived at the airport carrying posters and even Korean flags. The company said that some 1,500 fans from various parts of Europe flocked to the airport.

     The Korean Wave has stretched beyond Asia and reached the Europe. It is seem to be proud that Korean culture is well known in world.  I think it will be a good chance to promote our culture internationally, so we should show that the Korean Wave is not a flash in the pan.

Blog Post #8 - Compare and Contrast: Two Products or Two Restaurants

   The global competition between I-pad 2 and Galaxy Tab are getting tougher.  No one know about the result to competition, because both tablet computers are useful and convenient.   So they make we can search internet anywhere anytime. 

But they have difference things.  These two devices have the different design. When you look at the I-pad 2 the case part of the color is well finished in light gray color which symbolizes the coherent design of Apple’s products. On the other hand, Galaxy Tab is more looking like a luxurious accessory.  The back part of the tablet is manufactured with black high-glass plastic.  It appearance comes out to be very much noble looking. 

 As a result, I strongly recommend Galaxy Tab because it has best customer service, and the term of long guarantee.  That’s why I think Galaxy Tab is best tablet computer.

Blog Post #7 - Compare and Contrast: Two Places

                                                      

                                   Seoul or Busan

    
      I think the first major difference is sea.  Busan has beautiful sea such as Gwanganri and Heaundea beach.  Every summer there are crowded with many people.  they can play sailing, fishing and surfing, but Seoul does not have beach.  So many people can go to Han river.  Han river is the longest river in Korea.  many people spend leisure time in there. 

     Second is because people living in Seoul have such a soft way of talking, but people of Busan use unrefined way of talking.  Country brogue makes that case.  So people in Seoul seem like very kind, but people in Busan look like strong. 

     Recently both cities reduce their own feature,  They have in common such as transportation education and culture.  This may be true, but they have more difference feature

Blog Post #6 - For the Sake of Argument Part II

     Recently, research show that  many people enjoy watching TV all days.  That say watching TV make a useful and pleasant time. I agree with the opinion for the following reason. 

     First, watching TV makes useful time.  We can get much information and common sense through the TV.  So we can use that our social life.  Second, it can expand our idea.  Many students spend a lot of time on watching TV.  That time they become actors.  So they broaden their mind.  Finally, watching TV is educational.  For example EBS has a lot of educational contents.  It is very useful to students.

    
     In conclusion, good influences are discovered by experts and around us.  Watching TV has merits such as information and idea, education.  That’s why I think many people should have watching TV.

     Now days statistics reported in many people enjoy watching TV all days.  They say that watching TV make a fun and pleasant time.  But it is not fact.  Many experts said that watching TV can’t help make us better person.  I agree with the opinion for the following reason. 

    First, watching TV causes a person to spend time alone.  That can cause depression and selfish.  It is an important social problem.  Second, it can cause low grade to students.  Many students spend a lot of time on watching TV.  Finally, watching TV is conducted indoor.  So we don’t play other outdoor activities.  It cause health problem.  It makes bad results.

     In conclusion, bad influences are discovered by experts and around us.  Watching TV cause a lot of problems such as health and depression, education.  That’s why I think many people should have other hobbies for their heath and personality.

About ten years ago I watched movies in the middle of night.  The tittle is Child's Play. Korea name is 사탄의 인형.  After finished the movie I got to sleep on the sofa.   After a while Suddenly  there was a TV on the bottom.  So I very suprised.  This incident happended so quickly that I was shocked.  Sometimes I think this incident.

Have you ever visited Nam han san sung?  My favorite place is  Nam han san sung.   This place is a very popular traditional castel in Korea.  It is located Sung nam city .  Nowadays many people vist Nam han san sung on the weekends.   During childhood I always go to there.  I hang out with my friends in the natural place.  It have a lot of trees and traditional ruins.  It's very beautiful and fantastic place, also it have very fresh air.  Another good thing is it have a fine view.  A clear day we can overlook the whole city.  So many people want to see the sight.  Baesd on several reasons I through of Nam han san sung as a comfortable rest.  That's why I like my own beautiful place.

Tanaka Koichi

     The person I respect is Tanaka Koichi.

First he got nobel prize but he is not doctor he is only college.  Besides his major is not chemistry.  He major is electromagnetism.  Many people Think he is a chemist.  But I know he is businessman.   Definitely he is the chemist and businessman.  
   Second, he loves his job.  He enjoys working in the lab.   So he is very hard-working and normal businessman.   As a result he has been rsepected many co-work.    Sincereness and endurance are his best strengths.

  Finally he is a person of grent humility.  He always has modest attitude . So he is very modest about his success.  After he got the Nobel prize, he did bset his job. and he refused his any job suggestions.  But he wanted only his research.  That's why I respect him.   I want to learn his passion and effort.
